AVM Aneurysm

Many of us know of someone or is someone who has been affected by an AVM and an Aneurysm. Although unfortunately, it is a disorder that seems to fly under the radar and is less known than others. Often awareness of the disorder only occurs when it is too late or when symptoms start to occur.

My goal with this AVM and Aneurysm photography awareness project is to create more of an awareness of these disorders, to create a community, and to visually share the stories of the emotional outcomes.

My Story

Never defined by tragedy, we are shaped by it

It is crazy to think that sometimes the most frightening situations in life can steer you in the right direction. I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today without this horrifying chapter occurring in my life, although I do consider myself extremely lucky than most.

Therefore after seven years, I feel the need to share my story to create awareness that AVM's and aneurysms can occur at any time to anyone, although no matter what, you must continue to live your life to the fullest.
